Key handover for maxmodul apartment building. Successful first cooperation between Vonovia SE and Max Bögl Modul AG: After a construction period of just four months, the new residential building "Am Schwarzen Steg" in Bayreuth was handed over to the tenants in mid-February.

In Germany, affordable housing is scarce and tens of thousands of apartments are lacking. The result is significant increases in rents and bottlenecks, especially in large cities and university towns, conurbations and rural districts close to cities. Low-income households in particular, but increasingly also middle-income households, have difficulties finding affordable housing. The current situation therefore calls for swift action on the part of all concerned. The aim is to significantly intensify new housing construction and to increase it from 270,000 today to at least 350,000 apartments a year in the future.

In response to the current bottleneck problems in residential construction, the group of companies is presenting an impressive concept in the form of "maxmodul", which shows how architecturally high-quality living space can be realised quickly and cost-effectively thanks to modern industrial modular construction.

Prize winner Stefan Bierschneider, concrete and reinforced concrete constructor at Max Bögl, was awarded "Best Trainee 2015" by the Bavarian Construction Industry Association in mid-April this year.

Nathalie Klein (trainee industrial clerk) and Simeon Walter (trainee electronics technician) are pleased to be able to use an Opel Adam for six months free of charge.

The Max Bögl Group has been awarded the German test seal "Top Career Opportunities" and has achieved an excellent 4th place. On behalf of Focus and Focus Money, 17,500 of the German companies with the highest number of employees were surveyed, of which 151 came from the construction industry.
