As a central innovation and digitization platform, BE5 promotes cross-company collaboration to shape the future of construction and operation. Max Bögl has recognized the potential of this platform as an innovation engine and network and is actively involved as a founding member. Together with other companies involved in the creation and use of buildings, start-ups and young creative people, innovations are developed in order to actively advance the digital transformation of the entire industry.

In an interview with "mbquadrat", our colleague Lena Hagelauer talks about her daily work as a project manager and about her recently completed project in Itzehoe - a multi-storey car park in the Bögl system, which in the meantime caused headaches, but in retrospect captivates with its lively facade.

In January 2017, a team from TU Munich won the Elon Musk international design competition for the first time - now the TUM-Hyperloop team won for the fourth time in a row. Max Bögl supported their research project with an ultra strong concrete tube. Elon Musk personally admired the system.

The company, which belongs to the automotive industry, is investing over 40 million euros in its new headquarters. Last week, the topping-out ceremony for the completed shell of the first construction phase was celebrated.

With the acquisition of a new fleet of truck mixers for ready-mix concrete, the Max Bögl Group is investing in modern mixing, vehicle and environmental technology and, above all, in greater safety with a modern turn-off assistant system.

The Max Bögl Group repeatedly set a new trainee record. While last year there were 141 trainees, in 2019 more than 160 young people throughout Germany are starting their training or a dual study course at the construction technology company Max Bögl.

Every two years, the Logistics Real Estate Initiative (Logix) awards prizes for outstanding logistics real estate developments in Germany. The award jury announced the four finalists for this year's award ceremony. Two of the four projects were built by Max Bögl. On 7 October, the winning project will be selected at the ExpoReal in Munich. The jury evaluates the project on the basis of urban development, economic, ecological and social criteria.

TenneT commissions the Infrastructure division of the Max Bögl Group with Germany's longest 380 kV three-phase current underground cable section between the Wahle transformer station (Peine district) and the Lamspringe transformer station (Hildesheim district) in Lower Saxony. TenneT opted for the group because of its broad range of services and many years of experience in large-scale infrastructure projects. The contract includes the construction of the cable trenches, the laying of the empty conduits and the drilling of undercuts in areas where the underground cable will pass under railway lines, motorways or rivers, for example.
