A complex large-scale project in modern pipeline construction, in which Max Bögl's supply and waste disposal business unit plays a major role in Arge. The new district heating pipeline, which runs from the new power plant via Castrop-Rauxel to Recklinghausen, is 13 kilometres long and runs largely along existing or former railway lines such as the König-Ludwig-Zechenbahn. Over a distance of about eleven kilometres, the transport pipeline disappears underground by means of plastic-coated pipes. In sections with a total length of two kilometers, heat-insulated, sheet metal-coated steel pipes are laid above ground in elevated construction.
