The Max Bögl location in Cologne moved from Stolberger Straße to Frankfurter Straße at the beginning of the year - about twelve kilometres from the city centre. The Eil district there is directly connected to the A3, A4 and A59 motorways and to Cologne/Bonn Airport. The newly acquired office space - in teamwork with the precast plant and the technical office staff in Hamminkeln - will strengthen the company's presence in North Rhine-Westphalia and increase its proximity to its customers.

Promotion of hall construction

With the creation of the local system construction divisions - e.g. Systembau NRW in the new office in Cologne - the group of companies is positioning itself even more broadly in the construction of halls. In addition to the construction work, customers can thus receive comprehensive support including planning throughout all project phases if desired. Building owners can thus configure their commercial properties individually with the experts on site and adapt them optimally to their specific needs.

The Systembau NRW division is currently planning and constructing a warehouse with integrated office and outdoor facilities in Heinsberg - about 90 km west of Cologne. The client is the medium-sized family business Hubert Schmitz GmbH with its brand S-GARD. Founded in 1887 as a weaving mill for special fabrics, the company is now one of the market-leading manufacturers of high-quality workwear and firefighter protective clothing in Europe. The new property in the Bögl hall system for S-GARD with an area of about three handball fields is being built in a construction period of only seven months. The precast concrete parts required for this are produced regionally in the company's own factory in Hamminkeln, only 120 km away.

Lean management is voor Max Bögl meer dan alleen maar een methode. Het is namelijk ons doel onze bedrijfsfilosofie blijvend te veranderen en een lerende organisatie met een lean-cultuur te creëren. In het kader van deze filosofie worden handelingsprincipes, zoals veranderings-, waarden- en foutencultuur verondersteld en ook geaccepteerd. De lean-principes zijn een hulpmiddel op onze weg naar een slank bouwbedrijf. De implementatie van de lean principes wordt uitgevoerd door dagelijks gebruik van de methoden en instrumenten door onze medewerkers.

Een beslissende factor op weg naar een slank bouwbedrijf zijn de medewerkers van de groep omdat zij als experts op hun werkplek een belangrijke rol bij de verandering vervullen. Om ze op de komende veranderingen voor te bereiden en hun de noodzakelijke kennis over te dragen werd de maxlean Academie opgericht. Doel is om met een vier-fasen opleidingsconcept onze collega's met de voor hen noodzakelijke knowhow toe te rusten. Ze worden door scholingen en door coaching ter plekke ondersteund om zo de lean-cultuur te leren kennen en die in hun dagelijkse werk toe te passen. De scholingen worden door simulaties ondersteund om zo de geleerde theorie aan de hand van praktische voorbeelden te intensiveren. Hierbij is de leerinhoud en het praktijkgedeelte afgestemd op de taakvelden van onze collega's om zo de praktische toepassing in het alledaagse werk te vergemakkelijken. De praktische toepassing en coaching ter plekke vinden plaats door de opgebouwde lean-structuur op de betreffende vakgebieden.

maxlean beperkt zich niet alleen tot één sector van ons bedrijf. Integendeel, Lean moet als uniforme aanpak worden gezien, waarbij aan onze hele keten waarde wordt toegevoegd. Binnen de Max Bögl -groep zien we lean management niet als begrensd, maar geïntegreerd in onze algehele strategie ‚Fortschritt 4.0‘. Daarbij kijken we zowel naar de productie en de bouwplaats maar ook naar de logistiek en administratieve disciplines om onze klanten de gevraagde diensten te verlenen.
