Max Bögl Wind AG acquires shares in Naturspeicher GmbH

Max Bögl Wind AG, manufacturer of hybrid towers, took over all shares in Naturspeicher GmbH on 10 May 2019. With the purchase, the supplier of large storage facilities will thus become part of the Max Bögl group of companies. The sole Managing Director of Naturspeicher GmbH is Josef Knitl, also a member of the Executive Board of Max Bögl Wind AG. With this merger, the companies intend to bundle their expertise in climate-neutral energy generation and storage. The aim is to expand the company's position on the global growth market.

Bundling competencies for energy system transformation

Max Bögl and Naturspeicher GmbH have been working closely together on the development of storage solutions for renewable energies since their joint foundation in 2012. Max Bögl Wind AG is, among other things, the market leader in the manufacture, supply and construction of hybrid towers. At Naturspeicher GmbH, 32 employees research and develop storage solutions and technologies for renewable energy sources. These include the natural heat storage unit and the water battery as well as the innovative PiPECrawler installation platform and pressure pipes made of polyethylene. In Gaildorf, both companies continue to work together with Alexander Schechner on the construction of the first water battery, the pilot project for natural power storage. This is a 70 megawatt hour short-term storage facility connected to a wind farm and designed to help keep the power grid stable in the future. Innovative products such as these will be increasingly in demand on the energy market in the future, and both companies want to take a pioneering role here thanks to their expertise.

Op de max landkaart wordt het complete proces van de projectuitvoering weergegeven: van de acquisitiefase tot het eind van de garantiefase. De focus ligt daarbij op de voorbereidende werkzaamheden om fouten bij de latere uitvoering te voorkomen waardoor op kosten wordt bespaard en de kwaliteit en naleving van termijnen wordt gegarandeerd. Door de vrijgave van de mijlpalen van de ene fase naar de volgende beperken we bij de projectafwikkeling het risico tot een minimum en voorkomen we dat capaciteiten verkeerd worden gebruikt.

Typische resultaten van gestandaardiseerde projectafwikkeling zijn een grotere efficiency bij de uitvoering, de aansturing van complexe projecten, het terugbrengen van herhalingen, achteraf uit te voeren werkzaamheden en nieuwe planningen waardoor de projectvoortgang wordt versneld. Daarnaast wordt door een duidelijke verdeling van taken, bevoegdheden en verantwoordelijkheden een betere controle en meer transparantie gerealiseerd ondanks de vele bij het project betrokken partijen. Terwijl de interdisciplinaire vormgeving van het projectteam voor voldoende en veelzijdige expertise zorgt, wordt de uniforme planning en aansturing van het project door de geregelde betrokkenheid van het projectmanagement gewaarborgd.

Door middel van een drie-fasen commissiestructuur – bestaande uit het projectteam, de aansturings- en controlegroep – wordt een betere ondersteuning bij projecten en een snellere besluitvorming mogelijk gemaakt. Op grond van het verleggen van beslissingsbevoegdheden naar lagere niveaus (topdown) wordt de focus verlegd naar slechts een paar belangrijke beslissingen en wordt op die manier het management ontlast.
