Many experts in the housing and construction industry today see industrial construction as an opportunity to build affordable housing in a short period of time, in high quality and in appreciable numbers. In view of the acute housing shortage in large German cities and university towns, modular construction, which is now synonymous with serial construction, has become the magic word in housing policy.

The logistics sector is booming. On the one hand, the increasing networking of the world under the guise of globalisation and the constantly growing trend towards online shopping with ever shorter delivery times demand advanced logistics solutions. On the other hand, many companies - from classic medium-sized companies to large international corporations - are investing in their production locations due to low interest rates and increasing economic growth. These market dynamics lead to a demand for hall buildings that can be designed as flexibly as possible, with short construction times and high quality combined with economic efficiency. It is precisely this demand that Max Bögl meets with its specially developed hall system.

The Max Bögl Group hands over an approximately 24,000 m² production hall in the Hall System Bögl to the family business Stahlo. In this context, the company from the steel processing industry invested around 45 million euros in the Gera location.

The success story continues: The Mobile Fabrication technology of Max Bögl Wind AG won this year’s bauma Innovation Award in the construction method category. The world’s most unique production concept for Hybrid Towers won over the jury for its technical innovation and contribution to climate protection and resource efficiency.

The best trainees of the construction technology company Max Bögl were again rewarded with a car this year. This year one trainee from the Gera location and one trainee from the Sengenthal headquarters are happy to be allowed to drive for free for half a year.

The Max Bögl Group is awarded the contract for the realisation of a sustainable logistics hall near the Munich Metropolitan Region, directly on the A94.

In December 2018 Max Bögl had a special occasion to celebrate. The reason for this was the honouring of the colleagues who had been employed in the Max Bögl Group for many years and their loyalty to our Group.

The Bavarian Engineering Prize 2019 was awarded last Friday to three Bavarian companies for their outstanding, creative and innovative engineering works. For the 10th time already, the Bayerische Ingenieurkammer-Bau (Bavarian Chamber of Engineers for Constructions) awarded the prize worth 10 000 euros. At the 27^th Bavarian Engineering Day, Chamber President Dr.-Ing. Norbert Gebbeken and the Bavarian Minister of Construction Dr. Hans Reichhart presented the prize.

The Max Bögl Wind AG reaches a milestone in the wind farm Thepharak in Thailand: The 90th hybrid tower in the project is erected. The company thus proves that wind power towers can also be produced far away from home in a mobile production facility according to German quality criteria.
