Milestone for the Transport System Bögl in China
The starting signal for the test drives in Chengdu, China, has been given: In September, the future-oriented local public transport system TSB started operation on the first section of a 3.5 km long demonstration line. Max Bögl and the Transport System Bögl have thus reached the next milestone on the way to final commissioning. In the future the vehicle will demonstrate the many advantages of the transport system in local transport in China as well.
Hybrid towers 2.0 are used for the first time
Together with the wind turbine manufacturer VENSYS, Max Bögl Wind AG is building a wind farm in Drohndorf (Saxony-Anhalt) in which second-generation hybrid towers are being used for the first time. We spoke with site manager Wilhelm Pauksch about the project and the new tower system 2.0.
Siemens Gamesa and Max Bögl Wind AG sign partnership agreement
Increased profitability of wind power projects. Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy, one of the world’s leading wind turbine manufacturers, and the German hybrid tower producer, Max Bögl Wind AG, have agreed a forward-looking cooperation model. Under the framework partnership agreement, project developers planning a Siemens Gamesa wind turbine will now be able to purchase hybrid towers as a project component directly from Max Bögl, reducing the number of interfaces and further optimising costs. One of the first projects to use the new contractual structure is the Coesfeld Letter Bruch GmbH wind farm, which is being developed by the SL NaturEnergie group.
Vestas and Max Bögl Wind AG are joining forces to lead the energy transition in Germany and Austria to success
In cooperation with Max Bögl Wind AG, Vestas is expanding its industry-leading tower portfolio of different tower technologies and heights to include concrete hybrid towers. Towers with hub heights of 166 and 169 meters are certified for the V162-5.6 MW and V150-5.6 MW turbine models of the EnVentus platform for Germany and Austria. Type approvals and relevant documentation packages are immediately available, so that Vestas customers can plan their EnVentus wind projects with these new towers.
First TSB series-production vehicle on the way to China
The next milestone for the finalization of the demonstration track in Chengdu was reached: At the beginning of June, the first series-production vehicle of the Transport System Bögl set off for our Chinese partner.

General renovation of Munich grammar schools
Venerable, but in need of restoration.
The growing population, full-day care and the reintroduction of the G9 at the grammar schools prompted the City of Munich to launch an extensive expansion programme until 2030 as part of the school construction offensive. In addition to new buildings of various school types, educational institutions must also be repaired and expanded.
OTH Amberg-Weiden and Max Bögl Group sign cooperation agreement
Prof. Dr. Andrea Klug (President OTH Amberg-Weiden) and Mr. Jens Bögl (Head of Human Resources) signed a cooperation agreement in the presence of Sabine Märtin (Head of OTH Professional), Willibald Gailler (District Administrator Neumarkt i. d. OPf.) and Ralph Walter (Head of Training).
Max Bögl breaks new ground at K+S
In Zielitz (Saxony-Anhalt) it is called Kalimandscharo, in Heringen (Hessen) it is called Monte Kali: this refers to overburden heaps of potash mining, which rise out of the ground like white mountains of salt up to 200 m and higher. One of the largest heaps is that of the Werra potash plant of K+S KALI GmbH at the Hattorf site (market community of Philippsthal) on the border between Hessen and Thuringia.
TSB demonstration line in China
The world's most populous country is a world leader in many areas of technology, but China still has a lot of catching up to do when it comes to expanding its local transport networks. Over the next few years, several thousand kilometers of state-of-the-art maglev projects are to be implemented for local passenger transport. Together with the Chinese cooperation partner Chengdu Xinzhu Road & Bridge Machinery Co. Ltd., Max Bögl is building a demonstration line for the Bögl Transport System (TSB) in Chengdu, capital of Sichuan Province.
